Calling all 50+ aged track and field athletes! Track and field is back at the Colorado Senior Games in 2026! Enjoy the camaraderie of competing with your fellow athletes at Garry Berry stadium in Colorado Springs. Reconnect with old friends and make new ones along the way!
Open to anyone with an interest in competing – whether you’re a veteran of the sport or looking to try something new – track and field has something for you! We hope to see you this coming June. Stay active, stay healthy, and good luck!

Participants must be 50 years of age or older as of December 31, 2026 to compete.
Competition Rules & Format
This meet will be conducted in accordance with USA Track & Field (USATF) rules, except as

- Following are the weights of the various implements to be used for each gender and age category:
- Javelin: M50+/700g; M60+/600g; M70+/500g; M80+/400g; W50+/500g; W75+/400g
- Shotput: M50+/6kg; M60+/5kg; M70+/4kg; M80+/3kg; W50+/3kg, W75+/2
- Discus: M50+/1.5kg; M60+/1.0kg; W50+ 1.0 kg; W75+/.75kg
- The competitors must not wear clothing that could impede the view of the judges
- Awards will be presented for 1st through 3rd place for each event within each age division.
Other information
All registration sales are final. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations, postponements, or interruptions caused by weather, natural events, acts of God, or any circumstances beyond the control of the Colorado Senior Games (CSG).
CSG reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to offer credits or registration transfers in special cases; however, these are not guaranteed and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
If you believe a refund is warranted and falls outside the policy stated above, your request must be submitted in writing within 14 days following the event date. Refund requests received more than 14 days after the event will not be considered.
By registering, athletes acknowledge and accept these terms as part of their agreement to participate.
