- Players are limited to only two events, ie. 2 Singles event, 2 Doubles, 1 Single and 1 Double
- When registering for doubles, each athlete MUST register separately and list partner when registering
Must be age 50 or older by December 31st, 2026 to compete
Competition Rules & Format
- This is a USTA (www.usta.com) sanctioned tournament. Membership cards are REQUIRED at the competition site. Participants may register for a max of 2 events, any combination of two doubles events or singles events or one singles events and one doubles event. This is an outdoor competition. All athletes must provide proof of age with either a driver’s license, birth certificate, or with current USTA card. Avoidance times are NOT guaranteed.
- Court Surface: Hard Court
- The consolation rounds are single elimination. Consolation is not a medal round. A playoff round will determine 3rd and 4th place in the main draw. Competition format is subject to change based on court availability, weather, and number of entries.
- Competition will follow USTA rules (www.usta.com),regulations and codes of conduct.
- Sports Director will determine eligibility for division of competition. Matches will be the best 2 of 3 tie break sets, match tie break will be used in lieu of a 3rd set. Maximum 32 entries in each draw.
- All players must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled match time.
- Point and game penalties will apply for tardy players.
- Forfeits will be determined by Sports Director per USTA governing rules.
- Players will be asked to “call their own matches.”
- If a lines person or umpire is needed, one will be provided, but only if absolutely necessary.
- Tennis balls will be provided.
- Tournament format subject to change based on the number of entries and inclement weather.
Other information
All registration sales are final. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations, postponements, or interruptions caused by weather, natural events, acts of God, or any circumstances beyond the control of the Colorado Senior Games (CSG).
CSG reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to offer credits or registration transfers in special cases; however, these are not guaranteed and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
If you believe a refund is warranted and falls outside the policy stated above, your request must be submitted in writing within 14 days following the event date. Refund requests received more than 14 days after the event will not be considered.
By registering, athletes acknowledge and accept these terms as part of their agreement to participate.
