Powerlifting
Competition
A powerlifting competition consists of athletes attempting to lift the maximum weight possible for one repetition in three distinct lifts: the squat, bench press, and deadlift. Each lifter is given three attempts per lift, and their best successful attempt in each is recorded. This competition will use the DOTS formula to calculate the winner. The DOTS total is a scoring system that adjusts for bodyweight, allowing lifters of different sizes to be compared more fairly—meaning a higher DOTS score reflects greater relative strength.
This competition is exclusively for lifters aged 50 and above and is open to both male and female competitors. Lifters will be categorized based on their age and weight class to ensure fair competition.
Registration Registration Deadline is May 25th, 2025
