Competition Rules & Format
Rules
- USA Pickleball Association (usapa.org) rules will govern this competition.
- ALL Round Robin with playoffs for Gold/Silver/Bronze. All games/matches are win by 2. Most Round Robins are 1 to 15 but may change based on the number of players in the event. If an event has 7 or 8 teams, round-robin matches will be 1 to 11 by 2.
- Top 4 teams go to the playoff (Lead in matches are 1 to 15 with the Gold Match with the option of 2/3-11w/2 or 1 to 15. Bronze Match 1 to 15.
TD may combine brackets as needed to ensure quality play. - Tournament may close at any time if maximum daily numbers are met (even if some events appear to have openings)
Format
- This will be a round-robin tournament with a medal playoff following the round-robin.
- Players will self-rate and cannot play lower than their DUPR Player Rating.
- Players may only play up in skill .5 from their profile rating.
- Tournament Director reserves the right to correct underrated players.
- We ask that all players respect the integrity of the game and of each event by entering at their most accurate skill level.
- Tournament will use Franklin x-40 ball
Other information
All registration sales are final. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations, postponements, or interruptions caused by weather, natural events, acts of God, or any circumstances beyond the control of the Colorado Senior Games (CSG).
CSG reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to offer credits or registration transfers in special cases; however, these are not guaranteed and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
If you believe a refund is warranted and falls outside the policy stated above, your request must be submitted in writing within 14 days following the event date. Refund requests received more than 14 days after the event will not be considered.
By registering, athletes acknowledge and accept these terms as part of their agreement to participate.
